As one of 16 Area Agencies on Aging in the state of North Carolina, the vision of Centralina AAA is to serve as a leader to impact communities where adults age with choice, dignity and independence. Centralina AAA developed the current Area Plan for Region F (Anson, Cabarrus, Iredell, Gaston, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Rowan, Stanly, and Union Counties) with input from focus groups, over 120 providers, volunteers, and staff, as well as demographic data. The Area Plan contains goals, strategies, and measures for Centralina Area Agency on Aging’s programs and services.
