Committed to an Inclusive EnvironmentÂ
Centralina Area Agency on Aging fully commits to complying with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes and regulations prohibiting discrimination in all programs and activities. We work to ensure that no one is excluded from participating in, denied benefits, or subjected to discrimination based on race, color, national origin, age, gender or disability in any of our programs or activities, whether federally funded or not. Employees and external agents are responsible for incorporating and implementing actions that align with our commitment to nondiscrimination.
We also prohibit discrimination against people with limited English proficiency (LEP) and work to provide equal access to programs, meetings, publications and activities to people with limited English skills.
Reasonable accommodations will be provided upon request and may include translation services, modifications or adjustments to a program, publication or activity to enable a person with a disability or someone who does not speak English to participate.
For more information on our Title VI Plan, to request a reasonable accommodation or to file a Title VI-related complaint, please contact 704-348-2733 or email admin@centralina.org.
