Centralina Area Agency on Aging’s conference is a unique educational and networking opportunity that assists the community in expanding its understanding of the aging network. Anyone who is currently serving or has an interest in serving the aging population are encouraged to attend this one-day event!

Centralina Area Agency on Aging is pleased to announce that we will be hosting our Annual Aging Conference on Friday, October 16th, 2026 at the Harris Conference Center in Charlotte, NC.

Keynote Speaker Spotlight
Teepa Snow, MS, OTR/L, FAOTA, is an Occupational Therapist with over forty years of rich and varied clinical and academic experience. Her experiences led her to the development of the GEMS® States of Brain Change and the Positive Approach™ training strategies. Her company, Positive Approach to Care® (PAC), provides online and in-person education and products to support those living with brain change. She also co-funded the Snow Approach Foundation, a nonprofit organization based in Hillsborough, North Carolina. Teepa presents with extraordinary expertise and humor to audiences throughout the world. Centralina Area Agency on Aging is excited to have her speak at this year’s Annual Aging Conference!

Speaker RFPs
Interested in presenting at our conference this year? Consider completing the 2026 Annual Aging Conference Request for Presentation form. We are accepting applications for both General Sessions (1 hour) and Rapid Sessions (30 minutes). Deadline to apply is April 15th, 2026.
